EM BMX Sandnes 2010

In 2010 the Norway`s Cycle Federation (NSF) has been awarded the final hosts for European Championships 11 and 12 and UEC Championships for the class 13 and over.  These events will be arranged and presented by the following BMX clubs in western Norway:

In this city of Sandnes - in Ruten,  with 65.000 people, between fjords and mountains the games will take place from the 8th to the 11th of July.

Sandnes BMX Club is widely known in the BMX world and has hosted the World Championships in 1991 with great success as well as hosting the 1994, 2000, 2004 and 2009 European Championships rounds.

Sviland BMX:

In 2007 Sviland BMX Club re-built their track in order to meet international BMX standards. A new complete Supercross and BMX-track will be finished in 2012.

Western Norway's newest BMX track opened in 2006 and has recently been expanded and renovated to meet international standards.
